What is a frozen wallet?

A frozen wallet on this page is a TRON address with a token balance the issuer has restricted. The restriction is stored by the token contract, usually as a blacklist or freeze event, and it applies to that token. TronScope reads the on-chain event and lists the address, the affected token, the frozen amount, and the time the freeze was recorded.

This directory lists TRON frozen wallets. It is most often used to look up frozen USDT addresses, because the USDT contract on TRON can block a specific balance. Open any row to see the wallet’s other assets and recent activity. Named companies remain on TRON wallet labels, which is a different record from a token issuer freeze.

Why can a token issuer freeze a balance?

Some TRC20 contracts let the issuer freeze or blacklist one balance or one address. That token issuer freeze is a function of the contract, not a freeze of the whole TRON account by the network. USDT is the common case. Issuers use the function for sanctions lists, fraud reports, court orders, or a compromised address. TronScope does not choose who appears here. A row is added when the chain records the event, and the amount is the restricted balance that event exposed.

The figure is not a judgment about the person who uses the address. It is also not a wallet label. Labels name a company and a role. This table only describes freezes.

Does frozen USDT mean the whole TRON wallet is frozen?

No. Frozen USDT means the issuer restricted that USDT balance. The address can still hold TRX and other TRC20 tokens, and it can still move any asset that was not frozen. Bandwidth and Energy on the account stay available. An address can appear in TRON wallet labels and also have frozen USDT. The two facts do not cancel each other.

For the rest of the account, open the address in the wallet analyzer. To browse named firms rather than freezes, use the company directory.
