Tristan D’Agosta opened Poloniex in 2014, an altcoin book at a time when that still meant a short list. Circle bought the company in 2018 and sold it the next year to a group that included Justin Sun. The owner changed. Sun’s other wallets did not become Poloniex wallets because of the sale.
