Henri Chen’s team opened Bitget in Singapore in 2018. The product people came for was copy trading: a user follows another trader’s book instead of placing every order. Futures sit beside that. Wikipedia’s own page is a single sentence, so the name comes from the Chinese press of that year, not from a long encyclopaedia entry.
