Nimrod Lehavi opened Simplex in Israel in 2014. Exchanges embedded it so a user could buy bitcoin with a card. Simplex authorized the card. The crypto payout was often done by the exchange that embedded it, which is why a Simplex-labeled TRON wallet is uncommon. Nuvei bought the company in 2021.
